The Parish Of Clontibret
Welcome to the Parish Website of the Catholic Parish of Clontibret in the Diocese of Clogher, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. Our Parish is a Community of Christian Faith, consisting of about 800 Catholic families with an approximate population of 2,700 people. It is located on the southern side of the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland; between the towns of Castleblayney, Ballybay and Monaghan. The parish territory is largely rural and covers an area of some 116 townlands. We have three churches and three Catholic schools - St Michael's at Annyalla, St Mary's at Clontibret and All Saints at Doohamlet. In today's world, the Internet is a modern means of communications. In our constant quest for knowledge it is important to use modern and appropriate means of communications in order to bring people closer to God through His Church. New to the parish?
