ST MICHAEL’S CHURCH CAR PARK & AVENUES: The Parish Finance Council has approved the draft plans for the completion and laying out of the Car Park and new entrance avenue, plus the re-surfacing of the existing avenue. The plans are on display in the left-hand side-aisle of St Michael’s church. They provide for the creation of a total of 157 parking places including 3 disabled spaces and a ramp at the “men’s” aisle door plus a new traffic management system. Any parishioner wishing to make observations is invited to do so, in writing, by not later that Sunday, 22 January 2006. Please address observations to the Parish Finance Council and place them in the Offertory Collection basket in any of the three churches.

OTHER PARISH IMPROVMENTS: In addition to the preliminary work on the Annyalla church grounds, the PFC has been very actively at work with the Clontibret Development Assoc’n on the completion of the car park at St Mary’s church and Community Centre. A new toilet block has been built; car park lighting will be provided and a new wall built at the rear of the church in the new year. All Saints’ church has been re-carpeted and a new organ was installed there recently. Lighting over the cemetery is also being provided and a contract has been agreed for new kneelers on all seats early in 2006. All of this is made possible through the generosity of parishioners.
